Shelby + Jarret

I say it over and over. "Don't overthink it." There's something organic about real moments that can't be replicated. There's a reason we don't like to "pose" a photo. There's a point behind me being vague and saying "snuggle up" or "take a walk" instead of telling you exactly how I want you to look. Shelby + Jarret are exactly the perfect example of why we love to shoot the way we do. The moments in between the poses are always going to be the best shots and these two didn't wait for me to count to three to focus on acting in love. This session was a blast from start to finish and Shelby's amazing attitude towards going wherever and doing anything for the shot was wonderful. I can't wait for this wedding now simply because they are so perfectly sweet to each other. No need for a long drawn out story - I'm sure I'll have one of those from the wedding day itself. For now - just enjoy what it looks like when a couple doesn't try too hard but trusts me when I say that what we shoot is love, not people.
