There's a really neat pride in this wedding for me. I spend a lot of my time these days surrounded by a ton of support. Other photographers and assistants tend to make my job a little easier all the time but except for the help from the amazing Amanda Reed (one of our very favorite wedding planners anywhere) I was on my own for this one. Cool then for me to see the way these first 100 photos that Abbey + Grant have seen from their big day sum up one of the most beautiful wedding stories I've ever been a part of. There's about 750 other final photos to release to these two but these are a few of my very favorites and I couldn't wait any longer to tell the story of this day.

Abbey is magnetic. Her smile, big hugs, and huge energy is infectious. I knew from my very first meeting with her and Grant that I would love being friends with these two but as I got to know Abbey more I can say that I am just in awe of how kind she really is. I connected with Grant right from the get-go. This is the guy who let's the world see how much Abbey means to him and I love when I can respect the way a groom acts to his bride. Needless to say with these two in the center of an incredible day all perfectly planned and designed by one of the very best wedding planners in the country my job was easy. I'm not sure I've ever smiled as much as I did during this wedding and though I want to tell the story behind every photo and go on about how beautiful this day was. .. I'm going to let these pictures do the talking. Because that's why I took them in the first place. Bottom line, it was an adventure from the moment I walked into Crown Beauty Bar that morning. Kelly(not just one of my favorite stylists but Melissa's very favorite [how's that for a shout out]) had set the tone for the entire day being gorgeous. I loved the decor, loved the look, and most of all loved that Abbey + Grant let me take them out in the middle of nowhere for their couple's session.
