PLAYING IN THE RAIN. CAMI + SAM'S CONNECTION SESSION

"I don't care if my clothes get wet... I'm pretty sure they get wet every time I wash them." - Cami

I'm going on record here to say this might be my favorite engagement session ever. POSSIBLE exception to the sunrise shoot in Brooklyn a few weeks ago - but I'd say if this session in my own backyard was on par with that one we did something kind of remarkable. Cami + Sam are the perfect tri-fecta for me. I've had the chance to see both of her older sisters walk down the aisle in beautiful white dresses but from the very first phone call from Cami I've been over the moon excited to be a part of this wedding. Every single step of this shoot was a dream. The moment we found out it was going to be a rainy day the excitement went up - which is just about my favorite reaction. To make a perfect shoot even better we all decided at the end of this session that we weren't quite as wet as we had wanted - so they jumped inside a waterfall to really make sure the effect was right. End result : amazing photos of an incredible couple. 

I can't say enough about Cami + Sam. I had never met this guy before we were shooting but it didn't seem to bother him at all. We hit it off pretty quick and I was blown away by how secure Cami looks wrapped up in him. He's a kind of quiet guy with a dry sense of humor and a super quick wit. He just so happens to be marrying a fire cracker. Cami is bold and confident and so willing to light up a room with a big laugh and probably an incredible outfit. Together they're the perfect mix between sweet to each other and funny together. I can genuinely say that I can't wait to be a part of this wedding down in Dallas this winter! -- Miles.
