Iceland Adventures Part 2

After the trip to Hellnar it was back to Reykjavik for a few hours in the city and an early morning appointment at the world famous Blue Lagoon.

Reykjavik is beautiful, colorful, modern. Our hotel was beautiful and our meals were all fantastic.

Once we hit the road it was time to focus. The next several hours spent scouting between the Grindavik and Vik were some of the most fun of the entire trip.

Our very favorite spot in Iceland became this view.

This trip along the south coast was amazing but we were completely blown away when we made it into Vik. That night we would see the Northern Lights, and the next morning it was time to start shooting with Amber + Dustin but for the evening it was all about the sunset, a great dinner at our hotel in Vik and trying to really absorb all that we had seen. I have to say - there is a laundry list of things you MUST have in Iceland. Waterproof boots, pants, jacket, and gloves are at the very top, but warm socks, mid layers, and weather proof cameras fall in there as well. It was incredible just how soaked we got on a number of occasions and thankfully we had done plenty of research about what to pack. With a solid list of locations we wanted to hit, drive times figured out, and most importantly the light and times that the light would be best logged at each location - we called it a night.
