Arkansas Senior Photography only... cooler

The teenage years are ridiculously crucial and hard and, um, awkward.
— Aimee Teegarden

We’ve kind of dipped our toe back into the senior market in the last year or so. It was something I had really grown away from for awhile but I realized last year that seniors are actually cool now. I don’t know when that happened - but it seems like they don’t go through the awkward stage that I did (for about 4 straight years) so - though the majority of my life is still wedding based I’m kind of loving the challenge of getting out and just having some fun with these kids! Lexxi hired me because she loves cool light. This girl is about as quiet as they come - and yet even though she said about 10 words the entire shoot I kinda love her for it. Her smile when I showed her on the back of the camera just how cool she looked said it all and I’m definitely excited to share some of her photos! Nothing long, drawn out and profoud here. I feel like the tendency these days is to make these sessions feel like the photographer is expressing this kid’s soul in some in depth way but truth be told - that’s mostly marketing. The reality is, we love to go out to some place cool, with a cool kid, wearing cool clothes and well - make them look cool. Pretty straight forward there!
