You guys this one was a major bucket list item. To be honest with you, every wedding photographer wants a crack at a black wedding dress. But to have a platinum blonde, covered in tattoos with a rock star personality, a black wedding dress, and a groom in a maroon tuxedo is like winning the bucket list lottery. We showed up in Springdale, Arkansas at the Apollo theater ready for an awesome day but I had no idea just how beautiful it would really be. The truth here is that Brittnee + Merrick were dream clients from the get go. This bride is as kind as she is beautiful and Merrick is her perfect other half. Calm, cool, and just as rockstar this wedding wasn’t your typical southern wedding. Even the maroon dresses on the bridesmaids made the images pop as we shot. I can genuinely say that these two are going down as one of my favorite couples in a long time. Super grateful for the opportunity to call Northwest Arkansas home where we have this kind of variety in weddings and clients. Give me a beautiful southern bell with sweet tea and lace any day, but every once in a while throw some Johnny Cash my way.
