Military Wedding at Cooper Chapel

A soldier doesn’t fight because he hates what is in front of him. He fights because he loves what he left behind

I’ll admit it you guys. I’m a sucker for a military wedding. I think it’s so cool when a groom has the opportunity to show to the world his commitment to his country. To be honest, I think it’s equally as cool when his soon to be wife (who in this situation is also in the military) gets to see those medals on his chest and know how much courage they have together. When Jordan & Jay first contacted me to tell me about their wedding ideas up at the glass chapel in Bella Vista and then their trip down to Kindred North I couldn’t wait to be a part of all of it. A few of you may remember the engagement session I did with the couple sitting on the edge of the dock reading their bible : well here they are again. Two kind, loving, God fearing people starting off their lives together already full of more life, and wisdom, and commitment than a lot of us will ever have. I will admit I’ve never seen a full wedding party in uniform and pulling up at Cooper Chapel seeing this group of men from the Marines, Army, and Navy was absolutely nothing short of powerful. I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to hang out with these two and their amazing families on their big day, to watch Jay wrap his arms around Jordan and slow dance while my friend Brock Short (Brock Entertainment) got everybody on the dance floor, and to sweat it out a bit in the Arkansas summer sun. I can’t wait for them to relive these moments and I would love to know what you think!
