Mallory and Jase
I just needed this. It’s amazing how much this job feeds my soul. To feel the energy I get back from a couple again was so special to me. Mallory and Jase drove 10 hours for this 90 minute session. They needed the fresh air too and after months of us all feeling so isolated this engagement session was a chance to go find center a little bit. These two are so special to me. I shot Mallory’s sister’s wedding years ago and when these two called I already knew the party I was up for. (Last time I shot the couples photos in a two seat airplane banking sideways hanging out of an open cockpit if it says anything). This session wasn’t that wild though. Instead I just let them kind of cuddle and enjoy the change of scenery. Life will be back to normal soon enough. The traffic will be back. The hustle. The rush of too much work and not enough time but for now I can honestly say I so love that these circumstances have helped me feel so appreciative of every couple, every shoot, and every click. I cant wait to see Jase cry on her way down the aisle, can’t wait to dance with their friends, and can’t wait for wedding season to be back.
