Jersey Shore Wedding Photography @ The Deavuille Inn

This wedding is going to stick with me forever. Annika and Mitchel’s day at the Deauville Inn is going down in the record books for something I’m sure but it’s absolutely etched into my memory as a favorite night with some amazing new friends.  Tucked away right on the Jersey Shore in Strathmere, this place has history, charm, and that perfect mix of laid-back coastal vibes and elegance. And let me tell you, when it comes to New Jersey weddings, this one had all the right feels. When we left the Philly airport and headed towards Jersey I was flooded with the memories of the last time we were in Avalon. Liz + John’s wedding was surreal on a beautiful white sugar beach with seagulls rolling up as unpaid actors. My sincere hope was that this one live up to my memories and did it ever.

The Deauville Inn’s Timeless Vibe

The Deauville Inn has been around since the late 1800s, and it’s kind of iconic at this point. A quick google search about this place rolled in everything from speak easy rumors back during prohibition to a million 5 star reviews on the seafood but for those of you who love the idea of a classic, coastal wedding with a touch of history, this spot is a dream come true. You’ve got those incredible views of the bay and the laid-back charm that only the Jersey Shore can deliver along with an approachable vibe by everybody around.

Annika and Mitchel wanted their day to feel personal and intimate but still celebrate the beauty of where they were getting married. The Deauville Inn delivered that in spades, and then some. You could feel the history here, but it never overshadowed the real star of the show: these two and their love story.

A Sunset Ceremony by the Bay

Okay, picture this: the beach, the bay glistening in the evening light, and a glassy, calm waterline that reflects every pastel hue of the sky while the sun pops in and out of clouds and patches of fog roll through. That’s where Annika and Mitchel said “I do,” surrounded by their closest friends and family. The whole thing felt like a scene from a movie. The gentle sound of the waves hitting the shore as they exchanged vows—it was the kind of quiet moment makes the photos easy.

Florals and Tablescapes Under a Clear Tent (You’ve Gotta See This)

The dinner was set up under a clear tent on the lawn, and this setup was seriously beautiful. The flowers were vibrant, perfectly popping against the neutral tones of the linens. The tent kept everything feeling open and airy, and because it was clear, you didn’t miss a bit of that stunning Jersey Shore backdrop. Every table was like a little work of art, with florals that played so well off the surrounding greenery. There was a lot of intention in how everything was laid out, and you could feel the care in every detail.

A 30-Person Wedding Party That Owned the Dance Floor

Let’s talk about the wedding party for a sec. Thirty people. Yep, you read that right. Thirty of their closest friends and family, all there to celebrate—and celebrate they did! From the moment the music started, they basically lived on the dance floor. The energy was through the roof, and it was contagious. There was never a dull moment, and the love and joy in the room were so real, so tangible. It’s one of those receptions where you can’t help but smile the whole time.

Jersey Shore Wedding Photography Dreams

This day, from the historic venue to the intimate moments on the beach, was one of those weddings where every detail clicked. I guess now that we’ve shot two of these things we can claim being Jersey Shore wedding photographers but truthfully having done weddings all over the world I can say that this little corner of the world is not only really special, it’s packed with amazing people. It’s days like this that remind me why I love what I do. Capturing moments that feel so real, so genuine, for people that are this beautiful and grateful—it’s the best part of my job.

Annika and Mitchel, your day was absolutely magical, and the Deauville Inn was the perfect backdrop for it all. For anyone out there dreaming of a wedding on the New Jersey coast, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s got that mix of charm, history, and unbeatable views that make for the kind of day you’ll never forget.

If you’re thinking about tying the knot on the Jersey Shore, don’t sleep on the Deauville Inn. Trust me, it’s a place where memories are made, and for Annika and Mitchel, it was the perfect spot to start their forever.
