Engaged in Arkansas. Hayley + Danny
I don't even know where to start with these two. We just clicked from the very first meeting. I don't mean like I walked out saying they're cute let's have some fun, I mean me saying this couple is the dream and I can't wait to be friends with them. Creepy? Probably - but seriously - they're just kind of wonderful. They're both super ministry minded living right now on the campus at the church Melissa and I attend as a part of a pretty incredible discipleship program and they both double up working other jobs as well. Danny just happens to be my favorite barista at my favorite coffee shop where ironically I'm sitting typing this blog. To be honest - he's working right now and yesterday these two got a little sneak peek of their photos the minute I finished them because they were both hanging out in the same coffee shop. This place makes you feel like an endless episode of Cheers and I kind of love the fact that I get to hang out with clients like this all the time. Fast forward from our first meting to this shoot and I'll admit all I told her she needed on her mind as far as where we were going or what they needed to do to prepare was 1. Have a few awesome outfits and 2. Trust me. These locations are out past the middle of nowhere - in fact I think they're probably pretty dang close to nowhere but they're perfect for little afternoon adventures. This shoot was my favorite afternoon in awhile. Max tagged along with me and we ended up with the perfect light, a whole bunch of wonderful wind to play with, and two people who are completely smitten by each other. I can't wait to be a part of this wedding and can't wait to share more about these two. Hayley is a full smile all the time - 0-100 REAL fast. She's full of giggles and those little moments where she buries her head in Danny's chest are easily the cutest thing I've ever seen. Danny on the other hand is the type of guy who can't wait for the half handshake hug. He leads off with a smile every time we see each other and is always quick to chat about what's going on in my life. Bottom line there's no question in my mind why these two work so well together but ultimately I hope these images show that better than I can explain.
