Spring Family Photos (Social Distancing Style)

Social distancing doesn’t have to mean staying inside. It’s a lesson I’m learning right along side everybody else, BUT with a few 70+ degree days and some much needed Vitamin D therapy I can officially say, it feels wonderful to just breath fresh air. We’ve been doing the inside thing like everybody else for a few weeks now. Home schooling, tag teaming zoom calls and strategy meetings and I’ve had about all I can handle. So this is an official plea… Lets. Get. Outside. Together. Meet the Ford family. I’ve been shooting their family since these two were just dating. The engagement, wedding, bridals, maternity, both babies and a little something like a global pandemic is not going to stop us from a beautiful spring day with a camera. We didn’t come closer than about 10 feet. We didn’t hug, high five, or elbow bump. We did all the things we were supposed to, but also we got out and just had some fun. So here’s the top three reasons your reasons for NOT booking a family mini session with us right now are silly.

  1. It’s too expensive. // Good. Thanks for bringing that one up first! Typically our mini sessions are $250 - $300 and this spring because we’ve had to open up a lot of space from wedding reschedules we are shooting them for $175. Bam : savings.

  2. Covid-19 is everywhere. // FALSE : it isn’t just lingering in the fresh air waiting to attack you. Let’s schedule some place without anybody else around. Let’s not sneeze on each other. Just keep out of my bubble and I’ll keep out of yours.

  3. We need haircuts. // Believe me : I feel you. Put cute summer caps on the fellas and let’s just go. These aren’t for Christmas cards. They’re for fun! (Did you know photos can be fun?)

Seriously though - call me. I’m all caught up on editing. I’m literally teaching myself how to Podcast and I’m antsy. Help me. Help you.
