Extreme Social Distancing. Adventure Session Style

Two shoots. One beautiful couple. A few years apart. The top shoot actually came first, the second was just last summer but what makes them both so special is that this couple has always just trusted me so much to understand their vision. We love to go on little adventures with out clients and though we’re all social distancing right now there is no reason we can’t get out and have a little fun! If you read my blog yesterday you saw me appeal a bit to the families in our area. We love family sessions and love little quick 30 minute escapes but also my creative soul just craves sessions like this as well. Whether it’s a short drive or a short hike getting out and just enjoying a little time with our favorite couples all too often only happens at their engagement shoot. The cool thing about both of the sessions in this blog is that neither - NEITHER - were associated with their wedding in any way! Just couples shoots. I know the second is a maternity, but still - the way we shoot those is more about the couple than the bump. So here’s my point - We’re all hung up at home right now and I think we could all use a little date night. We can’t go to the movies and we can’t go to dinner - but you CAN go out with us on a couples’ shoot, grab takeout and wine on the way home, and totally make new memories while the rest of the world keeps their doors locked. I would absolutely love the chance to catch up with our favorite couples and just go on a little adventure so we can fill up your walls with new, beautiful art from this time in your lives!

Secondly - for the photographers who follow this blog. If you scroll between the shoots you’ll see special links for discounts on our favorite presets right now, as well as how I was able to build this entire blog in less than 5 minutes.

I have to admit. I’ve been wanting to re-edit these images for a little while anyway. I was on the hunt for a shoot that would really show off these new presets from Tribe Archipelago and I just kind of stumbled onto the RAW files from this shoot and decided it was perfect. If you’re on the hunt for these chocolaty brown and creamy white tones use this link TRIBE NOMAD PRESETS for a discount!

While we’re offering some goodness to the photographers who read this blog check this out! This entire blog post took me less than 5 minutes to layout, keyword, write metadata, and code. Using Narrative we’ve learned how to really maximize the time we spend on the blog while making sure that we’re not only being efficient but also optimizing our blog posts to be seen by Google and look great on computer and mobile!
