Holdfast Gear Puppies and BFF's in Connecticut

Friends like this always have a place on this blog. Sometimes I forget that while I try so hard to curate and cull down our website to be more and more niche we are still surrounded by amazing friends who support and cheer us on. So, the heck with SEO and beautiful wedding images for a day because these two people do so much for us and this shoot was like food for my soul. The fun part though is that though I did shoot Raquel + Dave’s wedding in Brooklyn, NY a few years ago, and I did meet Raquel at another wedding at a winery in Connecticut nearly a decade ago what started as a total client relationship has changed so much. These two are my home away from home in New England these days and these pups are my favorite little cuddle buddies when I’m away from my own family. If there’s one thing I need to take more time for on here is to realize that we didn’t get to this point in our business by only speaking to future brides. We’ve maintained relationships with so many of our amazing couples over the years and they’ve all become such close friends that we’re sincerely blessed to have smiling faces all over the country to sit and have a glass of wine with when we roll through. Nonetheless having the opportunity to take these four out to the beautiful lake Wintergreen in Hamden for a quick family photography session was a total treat. Dave, Raquel. Love you guys to the moon! Thanks for being my craziest, and most supportive clients from so far away for all these years and thank you for opening your home to me so many times so that I have a cozy place to crash and people to spend my time with in between all the shoots and meetings and crazy that this job brings with it.
