JAI LONG : Being Right 51% of the time | Episode 35
Jai Long has a story that has been told countless times, but not like this. This is a guy who's backstory has informed and prepared him to become one of the most sought after and prolific educators, podcasters, and personalities in the photography world today and yet for as often as he is interviewed people miss the magic that makes Jai so special. This episode is all about finding that magic. Understanding the way a kid from Australia who has been homeless several times, in and out of government housing with no formal education can not only beat the odds but turn his life into something so remarkable forever changed the way I look at all Jai has accomplished. He's brilliant, creative, kind, and bold. Not one to raise his hand when he has a question, not one to wait in line to be served, not one to follow social standards that get in the way of pursuing dreams, Jai's life has been a series of courageous, unrealistic goals turned into reality. We took some time in this episode to understand the origins of the Six Figure Business Map, the Wedding Summit, Free the Bird Photography, NoSkin Clothing, and so many of Jai's other businesses and ideas and what I learned was that Jai simply refuses to separate himself from his work but also refuses to separate his work from his joy. He goes all in on his success and his relationships simultaneously making sure that wherever he shows up he is at his best. One of the best interviews I've heard him give, though clearly I'm a bit biased, and I'm eager to see the world see Jai Long through a new lens.
