TIME WELL SPENT . Sierra + Jacob

FINDING YOUR IMPORTANCE IN A DAY FILLED WITH IMPORTANCE

When you’re planning your wedding day what is the one thing that matters most to you? Is it the cake, the florals, the dress, the weather, the venue, the photographer?

Sierra and Jacob told me from their first meeting with me that everything about their day was going to be intimate and focused around just having time to be in front of the camera. We were able to take our time and go to places all over town that would allow for some incredible images. I believe their entire day was shaped by their emotions and during what turned into about 3 hours of couples photos. It really let their love shine through. I enjoyed every minute of this day from hair and make up in a beautiful Airbnb home in Fayetteville, to Sierra and her girls getting dressed in a quaint cottage bridal suite, to Jacob and Sierra’s no look first look, all the way through their sunset reception.

When given the option, time on your wedding day for you to not feel rushed during your photos is the biggest thing, I think, as a photographer. I don't think that's selfish of me. I work hard to make any time frame work. For those who have had me for 3 hours or those who have had me for 13 hours we always get the moments captured. I just love being able to watch the couples really embrace what is happening during the day. Here's to intimacy on your wedding day, and time with each other and those that matter.
